The goal of the Symposium is to provide a forum to promote interaction between the principal communities that are developing technologies related to the problems of accessing and managing globally distributed data in support of global science collaborations.

It is organized around invited and featured speakers and also papers submitted in response to the attached Call. Essentially every EU project related to this general topic is represented by the PI and key researchers. It will be an excellent opportunity to interact informally with a captive and interested audience.

Meeting Sponsor

If you would like to discuss sponsoring a session, event or other activity for the meeting, please contact Ann Kerr directly at chair@san.rr.com.

Vendor Sponsors

Vendors or Industry organizations are invited to participate as sponsors in the meeting, providing many opportunities to meet informally to discuss ideas and their technologies with participants. The symposium facilities include high quality meeting space with convenient access to vendor booths during breaks and meal functions. All vendors participating in the Vendor Expo will be included in the meeting website descriptions. Please contact Gary Sobol GZSobol@aol.com to participate in the Vendor Expo - or if you have recommendations for key vendors in your area that you would like to have represented.

Besides attending or sponsoring attendees to participate, there are opportunities ranging from name sponsorship to vendor hospitality suites open throughout meeting and evenings for four days / three nights ($4K), vendor booth ($3K), food function, and coffee break from $2500 and up. Name sponsorship is negotiable. The hotel meeting facilities provide photographs of the facilities, floorplans of the hospitality suites and information on network connections and hospitality venues.

If you are not interested or able to participate, we would appreciate your forwarding this information to other colleagues - or perhaps providing us with email lists to send this information.
